Obedience Training

We will teach your dog to heel, sit, stay, come, down, finish heel, automatic sit on the heel, and what the word "NO" means. Obedience Training is the communication that is needed to make the dog/human relationship work. Proper communication helps you and your dog understand each other, therefore making your dog a better family member. We have a training program to suit your needs and your lifestyle.

What is Obedience Training Really About?

Obedience Training is not just sit, stay, come, down, heel. A successful obedience training program is about teaching manners. A well-trained dog does not pull the leash and drag the owner down the street while going for what should have been an enjoyable walk. A well-trained dog does not jump on your guest when they enter the home, chase cars, get into trash, bark excessively, soil your carpet, chew the furniture, or shove his or her way in or out a doorway without permission from the owner. A successful training program shapes your dog into a welcomed family member who is a pleasure to live with, therefore, problem solving is included in your Obedience Training. Obedience is not about who's the boss or who's in charge; it's about working with your dog; it's about communication; its about understanding each other and improving relationships.

Puppy Classes

Puppies can and should begin obedience training, confidence building, and socialization as early as six weeks old. Starting at this young age allows us to help shape your puppy to reach his or her fullest potential. Puppies who begin training early rarely develop behavioral issues later in life, and a well-trained dog is a pleasure to live with. We offer training programs tailored to meet your individual needs.

All Breeds...All Sizes...All Ages

We train all breeds, both large and small. Training can begin as early as six weeks of age, and yes, you can teach an old dog new tricks. So don't give up on your older dog. Give him or her the training every pet deserves.
